Educator Helping Students Write Grants – BIO’s

Monte P Katzenberger

Monte Katzenberger is Development Director for DVRS360.org. His responsibilities are to acquire initial operating funds through the grant application process. He is a retired teacher and Army Officer with 40+ years of experience working with high performing professionals. He has an undergraduate degree in Special Education from the University of Idaho, BS Ed, and a master’s in education, Med, from Utah State University. He has completed the Armor Officer’s Basic and Advance Course, Command and General Staff Course and The Combined Arms Course at Leavenworth, Kansas.

 

He has taught 1st, 4th, 6th, Middle School grades, Captain, and Major ranks in the Military. I have had the pleasure of teaching the best and brightest officers from West Point Military Academy and talented Army Reserve and National Guard soldiers from all over the United States. He taught one of the first online and distance learning courses in the Army Reserve system. A pioneer in the virtual field, he has an intense appreciation for “face to face” instruction as well as “Virtual Learning.” He has extensive experience in the deliberate decision-making process as well as staff communications. He is eager to focus his energies to Educators Helping Students Write Grant.

Greg T. Farrell

Greg Farrell is the owner and managing director of DVRS360.org, non-profit. He is a retired firefighter of 18 years, an educator with nearly 35 years of experience and holds degrees from San Jose Community College, Cabrillo Community College. Attended UCLA, UC Davis, and UC Berkeley.

 

Greg has had a dual career as a safety trainer and a business owner for 50 years. Greg was one of three certified instructors this side “west” of the Mississippi River to teach National Fire Protection Association Level II, (NFPA) Courses.

 

As an instructor, Greg has taught well over 10,000 first responders on topics such as: emergency teams, Super Fund response and training. Greg is certified as an OSHA and MSHA safety trainer.

 

Greg’s main goal in creating this new organization, of (Educators Helping Students Writes Grants), is to create a great learning environment for all students to come, and learn how to apply for grants for collage at no cost to them in a save environment.
